TEMES fire.safe

TEMES fire.safeFire Safe Certificate of gaskets and valves
The failure of bolted flanged joints in industrial plants must be precluded also in the case of a fire. In such a case of damage, the thermal load for flange connections and valves in pipelines exceeds the values in operation many times. Nevertheless, it must be ensured that flange connections and valves do not exceed allowable leak rates.

We are glad to carry out fire safe tests on gaskets or valves in our laboratory.

Training for Engineers according to EN1591-4

Engineer according to EN1591-4The basic process for a secure bolted connection starts with the interpretation and the work preparation. This is the reason that the training for supervisors and responsible engineers is also provided in the standard EN 1591-4. Prerequisite for participation is the Foundation level. Next dates for the Foundation level in our training rooms in Lauffen a. N., Germany are available upon request.
The training for responsible engineers is also based on the curricula of the standard and includes the following topics:

  • Health and safety considerations
  • Methods of determination of the required gasket stress for a given tightness
  • Evaluation and determination of gasket characteristics
  • Basics of the manufacturing of flange joints according to EN 1591-1
  • Determination of assembly bolt force according to EN 1591-1
  • Selection of appropriate high-grade gaskets
  • Generation of work instructions

We would be pleased to provide you with our training courses. Contact us and make an appointment today.
