Training equipment

training equipmentWith the publication of the standard EN 1591-4 two years ago the demand of workshops for qualification of personnel in assembly of bolted flange connections increases constantly. We offer a customized training program for especially big companies because there is a high training need. Relevant standardized training devices are necessary because the practical training represents an essential component in the competence of the technicians.
The theoretical fundamentals can be illustrated better with practical elements and the existing skills can be stabilized. That's why amtec developed the following training equipment also used in our offered training programs.
The following devices are used in our training program according to EN1594-4:
  • bolting device: influence of grease and friction factors
  • flange device PN40/DN100 or NPS 4/Class 300: influence of assembly procedure
  • torque device: influence of accuracy and reproducibility of different tightening tools and proper use of torque controlled tools
A corresponding graphical presentation of the measured signals during the exercises carried out by the technicians themselves intensifies the positive effects and causes the famous "aha" reaction.
The torque device may not only be used for training programs. A simple function control before the use of the torque wrench and if necessary a regular calibration of torque wrenches is possible with this device.
